Cindy Paulson joins the board of directors of Axius Water

POCASSET, Mass. USA (December 14, 2022): Axius Water, a portfolio of businesses focused on improving the effectiveness of the treatment processes to remove nutrients in industrial and municipal applications, announces today that Cindy Paulson has joined the Axius Water board of directors, effective immediately.

Paulson’s impact in the water space has been significant during her 35 years with Brown and Caldwell, where she helped grow and diversify technical practices, advancing research and innovation, treatability testing, talent development, and quality delivery programs. In 2017, she became the company’s first chief technical officer.
Paulson also spent 10 years as the executive director for the California Urban Water Agencies, collaborating directly with the general managers of the eleven largest water agencies in the state. With Paulson’s leadership, collaboration helped to forge California water policy and initiated positive change on a wide range of issues, including drought response, climate change, water supply planning, water reuse, water quality, equity, and financial sustainability.
Paulson holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Political Science, a Master of Science and a Doctorate in Environmental Engineering. Paulson is known for her ability to bring diverse interests together, distill highly complex issues, facilitate effective dialogue, and co-create effective solutions.
“Cindy brings decades of experience working on projects in the water and wastewater treatment space to Axius Water,” said Chris McIntire, CEO of Axius Water. “Her passion and expertise are evident the moment you meet her. I look forward to Cindy joining our board to provide her technical and operational expertise.
