The right membrane for your aeration can make all the difference
The wrong fine-bubble aeration membrane will be eaten alive by the fats, oils and greases in the average dairy wastewater. The membrane is the mere millimetres-thick material on the outside of your aeration diffuser that makes the fine bubbles and prevents fouling. Choosing the right membrane could mean it lasts 30-50% longer, and maximizes your system’s efficiency over that time. So how do you know which is the right membrane?
The membrane experts in charge of EDI’s FlexAir® Pro fine-bubble aeration have tested it. We have helped many different dairy producers identify the right material for their aeration; we have even developed custom membranes for different industries, like our proprietary Matrix and Matrix Plus EPDM-embedded membranes. Having the right membrane keeps our customer’s wastewater treatment running, because we know dairy production doesn’t take a day off, so neither can our aeration.
