Mitch Pirtle

SiteWorks Crew Manager

Our SiteWorks team is out in the trenches – or I guess in our case, basins – every day helping to install aeration systems for our clients. They are willing to travel all across North America to ensure our customers have short down times and reliable aeration every time.

Working for EDI: 19+ Years

Mitch’s favorite thing about SiteWorks: There is never a quiet or dull moment. We are always busy with installs, or maintenance, or troubleshooting different projects. It is so exciting to be part of the SiteWorks team that puts customers first, 24/7. The team creates a wonderful work environment and it is a joy to come to work daily.

Q: How did you get to the position you are in now? You’ve worked for EDI and in the industry as a whole for quite a while, so it’s safe to assume you’ve held other positions before this one.

A: I started out of college in the drafting department in 2004. After 2 years there I moved into a PM role, eventually into the role of Lead Project Manager. After my short hiatus, this opportunity was presented to me.

Q:What do you wish others in the wastewater industry understood that isn’t talked about enough?

A: Screens are a must. Rags are a problem.

Q: What project have you worked on or completed recently that you’re most proud of and want mentioned here?

A: There is not one, but several from this past year that this team excelled at. To be clear I take zero credit for such projects, it is 100% a team effort within the SW team, our foreman and crews have been knocking it out of the park this year. They are the ones needing the recognition.

SiteWorks has had several projects this year that included full demolition and installation. Customers like Monogram Foods in Harlan, IA, Tyson in Lexington, NE, and JBS Grand Island NE.  These particular customers could only have their plants down for a certain amount of days and in some cases hours. In these cases the entire SW crew stepped up and finished these projects efficiently, safely, and under the time allotted. All of these projects were completed on or ahead of the customers schedules allowing them to get their plants back in operation sooner saving them time and money.

OUR TEAM IS ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU
