Troy Guyer

Regional Aftermarket Account Manager

Length of Time with EDI: 25 years in January (of 2026)

Q: How did you get to the position you are in now? You’ve worked for EDI for quite a while, so it’s safe to assume you’ve held other positions before this one.

A: I have worked in several different roles at EDI, from Production to Sales. Most of my time here has been spent in quality control and project management.

Q: What is your favorite part of Aftermarket to talk about and why?

A: What I like most about Aftermarket is that most of the time I am working with a customer that has an issue that needs to be taken care of. I like helping them find the resolution that works best for them.

Q: What do you wish others in the wastewater industry understood that isn’t talked about enough?

A: The importance of routine maintenance. All too often, it seems that once a system is installed and covered in 15 feet of wastewater, it is just out of sight out of mind until things start going wrong. When it gets to the point that the issue can be visibly seen at the surface, it can be a major problem. Something as simple as opening the purge valves once a week or so could help catch issues much earlier.
